Crane tips, crashes into house in Richmond Hill, Ont.

A crane toppled onto a home in Richmond Hill, Ont. last week as it was lifting a swimming pool over the roof and into the backyard.

InSauga.com reports that the second level of the home sustained significant damage, but no one was injured. There was at least one person in the house at the time of the incident.

A video uploaded to TikTok (below) by one of the home’s occupants on Aug. 20 showed that the crane was a LoadKing.

The crash happened after the pool had cleared the roof and was nearly on the ground in the backyard.

A second crane was brought onto the scene to remove the tipped crane.
